The ever popular Coral Beach Resort - Sharjah returned for its bi weekly Midweek Madness on Tuesday 1st December. Played over 9 holes the competitors played a par bogey competition against the golf course.

Vivek George (21) won his first Midweek Madness by defeating the golf course 2 up. George recorded net birdies on the 4th, 5th and 6th to help defeat his nearest competitor on countback. George also recorded 3 net pars at the 1st 3 holes to set him up for his maiden victory.

Runner up to George was Indian golfer Praveen Sharma (21) who lost the winners spot on countback. Sharma got off to a rocky start but finished in excellent style to take the runner up spot. Sharma’s highlight of his round was a net birdie at the 386 yard par 4 9th.

3rd place was won by Sabu Thomas (18) who finished level par over the 9 holes. Thomas had net birdies at the 3rd and 4th but a misjudgment at the 7th and 9th put him back to level par for his round.
