Coral Hotels & Resorts was founded in Dubai in 2003 and is among the fastest growing hotel management companies in the Middle East with an exciting portfolio of properties. Over the period, Coral has become synonymous with exceptional hospitality, respect for local culture and commitment to innovation. 2012

January
Coral Hotels & Resorts welcomed its first guests to Coral Hotel Dhahran marking the soft opening of the group's 13th hotel in the Kingdom. The 153-room hotel is strategically located in the Aramco district of Dhahran, adjacent to two of its principal malls and in the heart of the central business district, making it the ideal address for both corporate and leisure visitors.

HMH - Hospitality Management Holdings staged its strong portfolio of 33 operational hotels and 16 upcoming properties across the Middle East and Africa during the Arabian Travel Market 2012. Michel Noblet President & CEO, HMH said, "Over the years we have established a solid reputation. Our primary objective today is to consolidate our business while continuing our strong development in the Middle East, Africa and Asia where we see enormous potential for growth."

2011

January
Coral Hotels & Resorts signed another fascinating and ultra-luxurious hotel in central Beirut called Coral Concorde. It is a boutique-style hotel featuring 68-keys equipped with world-class facilities.

February
Coral Hotels & Resorts formalized contracts for two new projects in Jordan. Michel Noblet, President & CEO of the group said, “We are delighted to sign these stunning new hotels in the Levant region. Coral Manja Resort is a beautiful 72-units property superbly located in Madaba while Coral Hotel is an amazing 190 keys hotel in Aqaba.

Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Plaza – Qurum – Muscat featuring 120 keys.

April
Coral Hotels& Resorts announced the soft opening of Coral Hotel – Doha featuring 227 richly appointed deluxe rooms and suites each equipped with premier amenities and the latest technology.

May
Coral Hotels & Resorts announced four new hotels in Sudan that will be operated under its three different brands namely Coral Niyala – Khartoum, Corp Burj Al Noor – Khartoum, EWA Port Sudan and EWA Nile Tower – Khartoum. 

The soft launch of Coral Hotel – Aden followed in the month too.The hotel features 143 spacious guest rooms including 25 self-contained suites.

July
Coral Beach Hotel Jubail – the gateway to the industrial city in KSA – opened its doors. Boasting 102 meticulously-appointed guestrooms including 6 Executive Suites, 72 Standard Rooms and 24 Deluxe Rooms, the hotel is designed to provide the utmost in comfort.

October
Coral Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of Coral Martini - Aleppo, an ultra-luxurious 5-star featuring149 rooms. It was one of the key properties for the group in Levant region taking its portfolio to nine there.

November
Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Boutique Hotel Baghdad in Iraq. Featuring 80 rooms and suites, the hotel is situated in the heart of Baghdad in one of most prestigious avenues in Jadriya area merely 5 kilometers from International Zone (formerly known as the Green Zone) district - a heavily guarded diplomatic area.

 


2010

January
Coral Hotels & Resorts stepped into Sudan with two outstanding hotels in Khartoum and Port Sudan. The management agreement was formalised with Sudanese Kuwaiti Hotels Co. Ltd. (SKHC) for Coral Khartoum and Coral Port Sudan. This marks Coral’s first move into North-East Africa.

April
Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a beautiful 5-star hotel Coral Hotel Doha which is brilliantly located within easy reach from Doha International airport as well as the city’s main commercial and leisure districts. The hotel comprises 228 state-of-the-art guest rooms and suites, all beautifully decorated in modern urban style.

May
Coral Hotels & Resorts strengthened its hold over KSA with the announcement of 2 new projects at Arabian Travel Market. Coral Dhahran is at an advanced stage of development and is a luxurious hotel strategically located minutes from the city’s prominent intersection between Prince Faisal bin Fahd road and King Saud road. It features 153 keys including 23 rooms exclusively dedicated for ladies. Coral Riyadh is equally distinctive and boasts all five star facilities and services.

Continuing its expansion in Jordan, Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract for Coral Sadeen Amman that is owned by the Sadeen Group. The hotel features 92 elegantly appointed deluxe guestrooms and suites, two restaurants, two beautiful ballrooms, outstanding meeting facilities and up to date technology.

July
Extending its commitment to the Saudi Arabian hospitality market, Coral Hotels & Resorts entered in to an agreement with Al Fanar Group to manage the group’s new hotel in Jeddah, the Red Sea city. Currently under construction, the property located at the prestigious Jeddah Corniche will open early in 2011. Coral Jeddah will feature 54 rooms, eight suites and eight studio apartments as well as two restaurants, roof-top cafe and three function rooms, health club and a pool.

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments with Al Khoory group. Michel Noblet, President & CEO, HMH - Hospitality Management Holdings, said: 'Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments makes an excellent addition to our portfolio of hotels. Like our other hotels, this stylish new property has been specially designed to suit business travellers and tourists alike providing cutting-edge international hospitality standards and services. The hotel features 144 spacious and well-appointed deluxe apartments. Ranging from studios to one, two and three bedrooms - each apartment is beautifully decorated.

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts rolled out its powerful new brand identity and marketing campaign. It was developed after extensive research and analysis both regionally and internationally and took nearly 15 months to finalize. Henceforth Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas will be known as Coral Hotels & Resorts. Unveiling the campaign, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Chairman & CEO, MANAFA LLC and Vice Chairman, HMH - Hospitality Management Holdings said, 'We are entering into a new era. Up until now we were a strong regional brand with global ambitions. However, today we are proud to say that we have several exciting projects developing beyond the Middle East. Looking at all the challenges globalization poses it became necessary to make our brand more mainstream. And we are confident our new identity will take us to new levels of success.'

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract for its second hotel in Syria. The Coral Martini Aleppo is a unique hotel strategically located in the historic city of Aleppo at the main gate greeting visitors from Damascus and Turkey. Coral Martini Aleppo will be set in 1200sq meters of lush gardens providing a perfect retreat to guests exploring the historical riches of the city. Included in the hotel's portfolio are all categories of rooms: single, double, twin and junior suites.
  • As part of its strong expansion strategy, Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Plaza Al Ahsa, a deluxe hotel in KSA. Michel Noblet, CEO, HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings, said, ‘We have the strongest development taking place in Saudi Arabia. Al Ahsa gives us access to the entire eastern region. Our strategy is to have operating excellence in every project we take over and we are confident Coral Plaza Al Ahsa will be a stellar success.’
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts entered into a strategic alliance with Trust International to launch a fully-integrated Central Reservation System (CRS) and Property Management System (PMS) with multi-platform functionality including Internet Booking Engine on our brand website (www.coral-international.com). Using the most advanced technology, Coral Hotels & Resorts went live on all Global Distribution Systems, Online Distribution Directories and Internet Distribution System. This instantly put us at the frontline of reservation and distribution technology and contributed to a significant boost in revenue.

  • The month marked the soft launch of Coral Suites Al Hamra, Coral Hotels & Resorts’ first hotel in Beirut. Owned by H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Coral Suites Al Hamra upholds Arabian traditions in grand style and provides an experience few can rival. Brilliantly located in the heart of Beirut minutes away from the city’s business and shopping districts, the hotel features 100 elegantly appointed rooms and suites offering the finest facilities.

January

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed its first hotel in Sudan. Coral Excelsior Khartoum offers 125 units along with the finest facilities and services. Included in its portfolio is a restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, business center, spa, fitness center / gym, swimming pool & shopping arcade.

February

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Yasmin Tower - Doha. The hotel will comprise 220 units along with outstanding business and leisure facilities including a unique restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, business center, spa, fitness center / gym, swimming pool & shopping arcade.
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts expanded its portfolio with the addition of Coral Beach Resort -RAK. The hotel will offer its guest 200 units with superb restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, business center, spa, fitness center / gym, swimming pool & shopping arcade.
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed Coral Sharjah Tower, a beautiful 172 unit property enjoying a strategic location in the city. Aside from other facilities the hotel will offer its guests a state-of-the-art business center and gym and fitness club.
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts announced the signing of Coral Liwa Abu Dhabi. On its completion the hotel will have 65 units, meeting room, business centre, gym and fitness centre and is an excellent addition to Coral's portfolio of properties.

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed Coral Suites Al Hamra a beautiful hotel perfectly located in the heart of Beirut minutes away from the city's business and shopping districts.   • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for its second hotel in Beirut - Coral Raouche. A compact 24-unit hotel with a meeting room, it will cater to both corporate and leisure clients. Michel Noblet, Managing Director, HMM, said: 'This is a significant project for us and we are delighted to be able to establish presence in a such popular destination.'

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts made its first move into Jordan with Coral Ammam. The 120-units property will offer guests all modern comforts and facilities including a restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, business centre, spa, fitness centre / gym, swimming pool and shopping arcade.
  • Continuing its rapid expansion, Coral Hotels & Resorts signed Coral Boutique Hotel Apartment in Ras Al Khaimah. Featuring 80 elegantly furnished apartments, the property is conveniently located for both business and leisure travellers.

Coral Hotels & Resorts inked its first project in Egypt called Coral Cosmopolitan Hotel - Cairo. Michel Noblet, CEO, HMH, said the group's expansion into Egypt is a significant move given that Egypt remains a popular tourist destination.' With 85 rooms, two restaurants and two meeting rooms, Coral Cosmopolitan will offer outstanding facilities for both business and leisure travellers.

Coral Hotels & Resorts formalized the contract for Coral Residence - Ajman - a stylish and welcoming abode offering high quality accommodation for both long and short-stay guests. The elegant hotel features 108 comfortable and well-appointed apartments that include 72 one bedroom apartments and 36 two bedroom apartments.

 


2007

January

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts added to its repertoire another beautiful property, this time in Fujairah. Featuring 176 fully-furnished units, Coral Residence Tower, Fujairah is located less than 5 minutes drive from Fujairah International Airport and Trade Centre. The rooms range from studios to two-bedroom apartments. Beautifully decorated in contemporary urban style, the rooms offer all modern and classic comforts.
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts took its first steps into Oman with the opening of Coral Hotel, Muscat. The beautiful hotel was officially inaugurated by Mr Suleiman Mohammed Al Yahyai. Present on the occasion was a high-power Coral Hotels & Resorts delegation led by the group's managing director Michel Noblet.

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract with Julia Dumna for a stunning, deluxe 5-star hotel in the heart of Aleppo in Syria. Coral Julia Dumna - Aleppo is the first of the several projects planned by Coral in Syria. Michel Noblet, Managing Director, Coral Hotels said, 'Syria is not just a popular holiday destination, but also a place where business in diverse fields is thriving. We are delighted to enter this dynamic market which is one of Middle East's top-performing tourism destinations.'

  • In a significant development, Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract for a stunning hotel in the heart of Khartoum. Said Michel Noblet, Managing Director, Coral Hotels & Resorts, 'Internationally, there is a strong appetite for Khartoum (the commercial hub of East Africa) as a tourism and business destination hence we expect continued growth. Owing to its strategic location, Khartoum will give us access to the entire East African region.
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts further expanded its domain in South Africa by signing two fresh Memorandums of Understanding with Cii Holdings for deluxe 5-star properties in Durban and Johannesburg.   • Coral Hotels & Resorts launched its first property in KSA. Coral International Hotel - Al Khobar, is a majectic 5-star located in the heart of the city. The stunning hotel was inaugurated by H.H. Prince Jalawi Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Masaed Al Saud, Vice Governor of Eastern Province, in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi, the owner and president of Al Rajhi Al Rajhi Group of Companies.

  • Coral Gulf Al Khobar was next to come under the Coral Hotels & Resorts umbrella. The hotel features 175 rooms each well-equipped to meet the exacting criteria of its diverse clientele. Included in the hotel's facilities are a restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, swimming pool & gym / fitness system.
  • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract for Coral Gulf Hotel - Riyadh -a 105-room elegant property conveniently located in the exclusive diplomatic area in King Abdul Aziz Road. The hotel is designed to indulge its guests with a wide array of sophisticated in-room comforts and amenities.

Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a new management contract for another beautiful property in Jeddah. Comprising 48 deluxe apartments, Coral International Park Residence - Jeddah enjoys an enviable location in Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Avenue (Al Tahlia Street) - within walking distance of popular shopping malls. Coral Hotels & Resorts entered into a strategic alliance with Skywards - the frequent flyer programme from Emirates and Sri Lankan Airlines that has an enormous base of almost 3 million members around the world. It entitles all Coral guests to 3 Skywards Miles for every dollar spent at any of the participating Coral properties across the region. Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Resort Manama Bahrain comprising 72 Suites (148 rooms) and a beautiful restaurant, meeting room and fitness center The strength of our brand combined with the powerful global marketing, sales and distribution engines, provide compelling reasons for potential developers to work with us.

Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral International - Abu Dhabi. Featuring 290 units, it will be Coral's first property in the capital and will offer world-class dining, meeting, banqueting, business and leisure facilities.

  • Coral Hotels & Resorts expands its presence in the Middle East. The company signed at the Arabian Travel Market a new strategic management contract for yet another exceptional property - this time in Oman. Addressing an exclusive press gathering said Michel Noblet, 'The Arabian Travel Market is recognized worldwide as one of the largest gathering of travel trade, consumers and media and provides the perfect platform to unveil a new project. We feel proud to welcome Coral Hotel - Muscat into our family at this very special venue. Oman is without doubt one of the most lucrative markets in the Middle East and we are delighted to be part of its buoyant economy.' In line with Coral's Boutique philosophy, Coral Hotel, Muscat is a welcoming, warm and gorgeous property that combines good service, comfort and character to offer the finest in hospitality.
  • 4th May turned out to be a day packed with surprises and delights for Coral Hotels & Resorts. The brand grabbed three top honours at the prestigious MENA Travel Awards held in Dubai. While Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah walked away with the Silver Award for Best 4-Star Leisure Hotel and Coral Deira, Dubai won the Silver Award for The Best Environmental 5-Star Hotel, Coral Oriental, Dubai picked up the Platinum Award for Best 4-Star New Hotel for 2005.

Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, one of the city's most luxurious 5-star boutique residences and the sole deluxe accommodation option in the Al Barsha area, opened its doors to guests. This became the fifth property to start operations under the Coral Hotels & Resorts banner. The hotel was officially launched by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi, Chairman and CEO, MANAFA LLC and Vice-Chairman, Coral Hotels & Resorts. On the day, Coral Hotels & Resorts became the first hotel management company in the Middle East to go alcohol-free. This proved to be a turning point in the company's history and from henceforth, besides business and leisure travelers, the Coral properties became the first choice for families too.

 


2004

January
Coral Hotels & Resorts acquired its second property Coral Deira, Dubai - a five-star that is sophisticated in tastes and cosmopolitan in outlook. The company signed the management contract for Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, Dubai. Within days, construction began on the site. Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah won the New Millennium International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry.

Coral Hotels & Resorts was officially launched on May 2 at an exclusive press conference held at Coral Deira, Dubai. The conference was attended by all leading publications in the UAE. Michel P.J. Noblet, Managing Director, Coral Hotels & Resorts, declared at the press conference that the company's objective was to develop 25 properties by 2008. The statement made headlines the next day.

October
Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management agreement for Coral Suites, Ajman. Located on the Corniche Road, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, Coral Suites, Ajman, oozes modern urban style. The hotel has 95 rooms out of which 81 are suites. Equipped with all first class amenities, most of the rooms have private balconies with panoramic sea views.

Coral Hotels& Resorts was founded in Dubai on September 29 by H.E. Sheikh Faisal Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi and Mr Michel Noblet.
