A group of more than 70 ladies attended an exclusive coffee morning at the Murjan Spa in Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, to learn tips on healthy living from Carol Horditch, founder of ‘Good Habits’ in Dubai. She is a motivational speaker who has established a support group to help people manage their weight and to lead healthier lifestyles. Carol encourages people to switch to healthy eating and to include some exercise in their daily routine. Also present was Emma Thomson, a certified professional co-active coach who has been assisting people suffering from stress by providing a one-on-one plan designed for any individual seeking positive change. She made an interesting presentation on reiki, a Japanese relaxation and de-stressing technique. The ladies were encouraged to share their experiences with the group. One lady ran her first marathon after a photograph of her made her decide to join the ‘Good Habits’ group to get fit and lose weight.
