Mehboob began his career at quite an early age as a music teacher. In addition to providing vocal training he taught his students to play instruments such as the piano and the keyboard. Soon he rose to being the Head of Music at KDMA International School (a reputed institute in India). The singer scored his first big hits with Tollywood films like Kashi Patnam Choodarababu and Maska.
