Ammar Kanaan
Chief Development Officer
Jordanian national with over 29 years experience in the hospitality industry successively as General Manager in KSA, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan working with leading brands in hospitality industry. His longest association was with the Le Meridian group where he spent nearly 15 years. Ammar brings tremendous understanding of the hotel trade to the table with extensive knowledge of the Gulf Corporate Council markets as well as other countries in the Middle East. Having a proven track record in identifying market opportunities and formulating the appropriate strategies to capitalize on them, Ammar plays a key role in HMH expansion and growth.

Most recent experience includes considerable exposure to Due Diligence & Compliance, Corporate Governance, Trust & Escrow account management, Legal and Corporate Financial Affairs, Client & Shareholder Relations and Project Management.

Fouad Nohra Chief Technical Officer Graduated as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer specialising in hotels, Fouad has worked in the hospitality industry since 1981 with many five star international hotel chains. Immense experience of managing new projects, development strategies, safety and security with LEED, especially within rigid timeframes, ensuring the highest quality work is delivered in this vital sector. An expert in new and pre-opening stages of hotels, he is at home leading a talented team to guarantee a successful opening.

Emad joined Coral Hotels & Resorts in 2004 as General Manager of Coral Beach Resort - Sharjah. He has over 28 years of management experience in hotel operations, development and branding. Over the years he has worked with several leading hotel groups including Liwa Hotels in Abu Dhabi and Claridge Hotels in Dubai. Prior to moving to the UAE, Emad was based in Baghdad and gained valuable insight of the industry working with some great hotels like Hyatt Tower Hotel, Petra Hotel, Melia Hotel and Sheraton Hotel. With a deep understanding of the hotel business, Emad is highly regarded within the group and has made a significant contribution to HMH.

This high- ranking professional, who today manages the Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah, U.A.E, has had, along with his many accomplishments, a long and rich career underlined by success and close- knit relationships. Jean Pierre Simon’s path began in 1967 and took him to countries like UK, Barbados, the Philippines, Switzerland, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Mauritius, South Africa and Kenya.

Mohinder S Khurana
Director Technical & Services
Having started his working career on the ships and shipyards in Japan and Sweden, Mohinder embarked on his hospitality career after a chance meeting with the President of Sheraton Hotels. He never looked back and continued with his valuable contribution as Project Manager or pre-opening Chief Engineer in many parts of the world, in many different properties, such as Sheraton, Oberoi, Holiday Inn and Le Meridien.

Indian national Aamir Pervez has been with HMH since 2006, rapidly progressing from his initial appointment in sales for the Coral Deira to become head of sales & marketing at the Coral Boutique Villas and then general manager at the property.
Multi-lingual Aamir studied in New Delhi before moving on to university in Antwerp, Belgium, where he graduated with a business degree, followed by diploma at Harlem Business School. He then started his career in sales and gained further business development and management skills in companies in Germany and Belgium before moving to the Arabian Gulf and joining the hospitality sector in 2006. Now entrusted with the management of Corp Executive Hotel Apartments Al Barsha – Dubai, Aamir has a massive challenge at hand, which he relishes to the core.

Originally from Poland, Madge joined the team in 2009 having previously worked for several large organizations including InterContinental Hotels Group and Costa Crociere Carnival Corporation. Her 10 years of experience crosses disciplines like customer relationship management (CRM), e-commerce, loyalty and frequent flyer programs, database management, employee training and development. She has a BSc in training and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of a Personnel Development in London (CIPD).

An accountancy graduate who joined HMH as Chief accountant in December 2008. Carmel gathered over 20 years of valuable experience in the Philippines in different capacities including accountant, admin supervisor, treasury supervisor and sales manager before moving on to the UAE. Before joining HMH, she worked as an internal auditor in an auditing firm.
